   Sole Power Battle

   On Friday Jan 27 I went to an Indiana only jam and won the power and footwork battle.  Roach and I also made it to the finals in the 2v2 but lost.  It was nice to get out and battle since this is my senior year at IU and its been tough to travel and train like I use to.  Im posting some of the rounds I did at the jam.  Thanks to Coda and Ft Wayne for throwing a great jam.

   Late post but I just wanted to say it was fun battling my own crew in the Butler battle in Indianapolis on 11/11/11.  Im glad we all made it to the finals and dominated the rest of indiana haha.

   Beatsickmisfits Vs. 61syx Techniques

   Winner: Beatsickmisfits

   This was the second title for me and Rox-it.  The event was fun even though I was mad sick the whole weekend.  Battling Flexum and Freedom in the semis was another highlight of the night for me.  Winning that battle never felt better.  Time for some summer training.

   Self-X vs. Beatsickmisfits @ Show Me Styles III April 2, 2011 St. Louis, MO

   Top 8

   Another great event, this was the first Show Me Styles I have been to.  We all actually didnt think we made it through prelims because of the spot we had.  We made to top 8 out of around 50 something crews.  Once again, proud of my crew.  I definitely look forward to the next Show Me Styles, maybe Finals next time?

   This was my fourth Bashville and it was as usual a dope event.  We made it to top 8 out of over 60 crews.  We were all tired from our spring break travels but my crew did great.  Looking forward to the next bashville.

    Give your judges one chance.

    When you enter a battle with judges you have never heard of what do you do?  Some refuse to enter, some dont care.  I say if you have never seen them judge or break before, give them one chance to judge you.  IF they judge in a way you dislike then NEVER enter a battle with them as judges again.  This way, youre not just calling out every judge for making a bad call (especially if they are not in shape to even battle you).  Give them their chance and if they are good to you then enter future battles with them as a judge, only THEN can you call them out for making a bad call haha.  Now dont hate them because they said you lost, I mean if they just plain out cheat you then yeah fuck them.  Unfinished Business was like that in Cinncinati, OH this past weekend.  Dope vibe but horrible judging and venue.
